I’m sure it’s the ghee. I feel I’ve been an amazing cook for my family this past winter and spring. Nevermind the fact that often times the kids are not interested in my culinary creations and the other adult is less than effusive about them.
I bought the ghee from a lady named Prabha at the farmer’s market. She made it herself.
My mouth would water as I set the onions to frying, adding the garlic and ginger and stirring in the tomatoes before it all stuck to the bottom of the pan. Other ingredients would be added and soon the dish would come together and be brought to the table to eat.
Recently, I was cooking with the door open. My neighbour texted me to say that my dinner smelled amazing.
